اشتهر أئمة العلوم في الإسلام بتميزهم في بيان مصطلحات العلوم والفنون وبيان مطلقها ومقيّدها وخاصها وعامها، ونبهوا على وجوب ملاحظة ذلك عند النظر في مناهج الأئمة، ومن ذلك بحثنا هذا والذي دار حول الإشارة إلى بيان ما سبق بإيجاز، والتعريف بالإمام الذهبي رحمه الله وبيان شهرته ومكانته بين العلماء المعاصرين والمتأخرين وبيان بيئته السياسية والعلمية وتأثره بذلك وتأثيره فيه وفيمن أتى بعده على مر العصور، ثم بيان معنى الجهالة ودرجاتها وما يرفع تلك الجهالة ويثبت العدالة عند أئمة وجهابذة الفنّ، ثم بيان ضوابط الإمام الذهبي في بيان معنى المستور من رواية جماعة عنه وألا يكون جرحه أحد من الأئمة وألا يكون قد روى ما يُنكر عليه، ثم بيان أن من توافرت فيه تلك الضوابط الشروط يلحق بأهل العدالة والقبول عند الإمام الذهبي وإن تفاوتت مراتبهم ومنازلهم، ثم بينت أن الأمر لا يقتصر على هذا عند الإمام الذهبي وأنه كبقية العلماء من ضرورة النظر في موافقة الرواية لأصول وقواعد الشريعة المتفق عليها وأن تكون سالمة من الشذوذ والعلل حتى يحكموا عليها بالقبول ومن ثمّ العمل بها، ومن تلك الضوابط النظر في غرابة ألفاظ الرواية ومدى مخالفتها للقواعد، والنظر في مرتبة الراوي، والنظر في تفرد الراوي..
 
 
 
Joy and Delight in Explaining Imam Al-Thahabi’s Criteria for the Term the Unknown “Mastur”
The Islamic sciences scholars have been famous for their excellence in illustrating the terminologies of various sciences and arts، clarifying the unrestricted and restricted terms، as well as the specific and general ones.
They also emphasized the importance of considering these distinctions when examining the scholars’ methodologies. This research focuses briefly on highlighting these mentioned points. It presents Imam Al-Thahabi، may Allah have mercy on him and explaining his fame and position among contemporary and later scholars. It also discusses his political and intellectual fields، its impact on him، and his influence on subsequent generations. It further identifies the ignorance meaning “jahala”، and its levels. It moreover clarifies this ignorance to prove the righteousness according to the leading scholars “the Imams” and experts in that field. It explains the Imam Al-Thahabi’s guidelines for determining the meaning of the unknown “mastur،” when a group narrates about him and the narrator’s validation should be one of his imams. Moreover، his narration shouldn’t be denounced. It illustrates the regulations and conditions of the righteousness and acceptance of that narrator according to Imam Al-Thahabi. These scholars’ ranks and positions should be varied. The illustration not only includes the Imam Al-Thahabi but also the other scholars and the narration must be complied with the fundamental principles and Sharia rules. It must be free of anomalies or defects to be accepted and applied. The narration regulations consider the wording oddity and how its invalidation to rules. The narrator’s rank and his unique works are taken into consideration.
